Swaziland coach Musa ‘Magic’ Zwane has lamented that Ghana proved physically-superior than his charges in the 2012 African Cup of Nations qualfier three days ago.

The Black Stars thrashed the home side 3-0 in Mbabane on Sunday at Somhlolo Stadium which made the coach observe the World Cup super stars at first hand.Zwane admitted that it was difficult to expect his players to perform miracles against a well-oiled Ghanaian squad that is fresh from doing well in the FIFA World Cup hosted in South Africa recently.
The former Royal Leopards’ coach also conceded that the fitness levels between the two sides were not the same and saw the need for his players to continue with camp.He praised his players for putting up a brave fight as they knew that they were facing very tough opposition but bizzarely claims they played better than the Black Stars.“We actually played better than the Ghanaians and were just let down by mistakes which we committed. We will try our level best to make amends in Ghana,” Zwane said.

“We tried our best today and could not do miracles as we were indeed up against strong opposition. We would like to thank His Majesty the King for gracing the game, it gave a morale boost to my players,” said the coach.

Zwane defended his choice for fielding striker Siza ‘King Pele’ Dlamini ahead of youthful strikers such Phinda ‘Phindrix’ Dlamini, Mfanafuthi ‘Taribo’ Bhembe and Msizi ‘Figa’ Lukhele, pointing out that the magnitude of this encounter warranted the use of experienced players.

He said he would bring in a few changes for in depth in his current squad, stressing that his intention was to see the squad qualify for the 2012 AFCON finals to be jointly hosted by Equatorial Guinea and Gabon.
