Football fans, who will throng the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday to witness the first epic encounter of the 2010/2011 Glo Premier League match between Kumasi Asante and Kessben FC, would have additional luxury of being visually thrilled with ladies in hot mini-skirts, popularly known as “Apuskeleke”.
The football loving fans, apart from watching the opening match, might as well have their money’s worth, as they would be exposed to a wide display of hot ladies, with big buttocks, at the stadium. The move, according to information, is an effort to rekindle the supporting spirit of the once-loyal Kotoko supporters, and encourage stadium attendance in matches involving the traditional club.
A leading member of the Asante Kotoko Fabulous Ladies Association, Faustina Fosuhene, who confirmed the arrangement to a Kumasi-based radio station, Fox FM, said members of the Greater Accra Regional branch of the association, would throng the Baba Yara Stadium with buses full of carefully selected well-built ladies to prosecute the support-driving agenda.
She said the ladies would display the “natural stuff they are made of, and we will fill the Baba Yara stadium; a colourful sight for all the supporters,” she noted.
Faustina Fosuhene said she was very optimistic that the move was the ladies’ little contribution to ensuring that the club regains its position as the biggest supporting football team in Ghana, and Africa as a whole, stressing that it would sustain one, which will be done for every Kotoko home game.
She, therefore, appealed to her colleague ladies supporters in the Ashanti Region, to join forces in ensuring the revival of the Porcupine Spirit.
