Local language actor and comedian Alex Kofi Adu popular known as Agya Koo has been through thick and thin with his lovely wife Madam Victoria Owusua Adomako.

Even when the now most popular actor in Ghana was not in the limelight, his wife was firmly behind him. The two have been married for over sixteen years with three children. These two different pictures show how far Agya and his wife Victoria have been together and how far they have come.

The love and trust between Agya Koo and his wife has been unending as Agya said in an interview “Several calls from unknown ladies never affects my time with the family or marriage life, since my wife knows that I am not doing anything wrong with these ladies”.

Agya Koo started out as a comedian on the ‘Key Soap Concert Party at the National Theater in 1994 but it was his entry into the film industry in 1999 that launched his flourishing career.

Kofi Adu was born and raised in Kumasi, Ashanti region. His career began in the early 90s where he took up and maintained the stage name Agya Koo.

In 1999, Agya Koo made his big screen début on the popular movie “Kumasi Yonko.” And has since starred in over 200 movies and still counting. He won a Presidential award in 2008 for his contribution to the movie industry in Ghana.

He won the award for “Best Actor in Local Language” at the maiden edition of the Ghana Movie Awards on Christmas Day December 25, 2010. He was recently honoured at the Most Popular Entertainer of Ghana Honours 2011, as the most entertaining movie personality.
