Fidelity Bank doubles target from “Go for Gold Promotion”

Fidelity Bank has doubled its target of signing up 20 thousand customers through its “Go for Gold Promotion”.

The promotion which was launched some six months ago was meant to encourage the habit of saving amongst Ghanaians. It was also to increase the customer base of the bank.

Wednesday, the grand draw saw a lucky customer walk away with a 24 carat-one kilogram gold bar valued at 60 thousand dollars.

Deputy Managing Director of the bank, Jim Baidin told Joy Business, the promotion has paid off.

“Our plan was to bring on board 20,000 new customers and I am proud to say that we got in all, 41,000 new customers,” he explained.

He said the new customers had contributed significantly to the revenue base of the bank.

Mr. Baidin told Joy Business, the bank is committed to meeting the needs of its customers.
