Final year students of the Kumasi Polytechnic are continuing their agitation for a refund of monies they had paid for an ICT facility which they say authorities have failed to provide.
The students say the authorities have also refused to account for the monies paid.
The aggrieved students have burnt tyres and locked up one of the main gates to the school to push for their case after disrupting end of semester exams on Monday.
Some students who spoke to Luv FM on condition of anonymity alleged they have found that a company the school authorities claim to have signed an agreement to provide Enterprise Portal-based Education Software for the school does not exist.
Meanwhile, attempts to reach the Acting Rector for his comments have proved unsuccessful but security men say they are containing the situation pending an official statement from the management.
