A 21st-minute goal from striker Samuel Affum sealed the much-needed victory for the Phobians, moving them two places up to the 11th position on the league table.

In other results, Aduana Stars jumped to second place after handing league leaders Kessben FC a 1-0 defeat at the Dormaa Park, while bottom placed Eleven Wise held third placed Heart of Lions to a goalless draw at the Kpando Park.

At the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium, New Edubiase lost 2-0 to Chelsea of Bechem, while Great Olympics held King Faisal to a one-all draw at the Baba Yara Stadium.

At the Tamale Sports Stadium, visiting Ashanti Gold suffered a 1-0 loss to RTU and Hasaacas succumbed 2-1 to Wa All Stars at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
