Ghana will be attempting to end their recent winless run when the Black Stars line up against 2010 Nations Cup hosts, Angola today.

The Black Stars will play the Palancas Negras at the Coqueiros Stadium as the CAN hosts test one of their match venues ahead of the finals.

Milovan Rajevac is determined to get a response from his team which has suffered two defeats and a draw in their last three outings to Benin, Japan and Mali in that order.

“It might be a friendly but we are keen to win. Winning is good for the confidence of the team and especially for the youngsters in the squad.

“We always set out to play well and win. But it’s important to see how the team plays too,” Rajevac said ahead of the game in Luanda.

The friendly forms part of team preparations towards next year’s African Nations Cup.
