Okudjeto denies mass transfers claims

204x_mg_jdgb_news27867okudzeto1The Deputy Minister for Information, Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa has denied speculation that government is to embark on mass transfer of personnel in the State Media. Mr. Okudjeto Ablakwa told Radio Ghana that the Professor Atta Mills government believes in Freedom of speech and Democracy.

He said it is important to assess the media, give them independence and not to interfere in their issues. He said as at now government does not have any hand in any speculation going on adding that media practitioners should go about their duties without fear or favour.
