Ghanaian Players Abroad

Sadat was on target for Etoile du Sahel in their 5-1 win at ES Hamam Sousse on Saturday; with Iddi grabbing the equaliser for KV Mechelen in their 3-1 away win over Germinal Beerschot.

In England, John Pantsil was in top form for Fulham, who lost 0-2 to title favourites, Chelsea at the Craven Cottage in a West London derby.

In the English Championship, Patrick Agyemang watched the game from the bench as his club Queens Park Rangers drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest.

In English League one, Ali Fuseni played the full duration for Millwall, who bagged a valuable point away to Southend United. He played in a defensive midfield role in their pulsating encounter that ended in a scoreless draw.

Jo Osei Kuffour also played 85 minutes for Bristol Rovers, who defeated Huddersfield 1-0.

Charlton brightened their chances of returning to the Championship after defeating Walsall by 2-0 at home. Winger, Lloyd Sam, was substituted on the 68th minute by Scott Wagstaff, who sealed the game for the Addicks, four minutes after coming on.

Albert Adomah scored a vital goal that won all three points for Barnet against Torquay, but he was substituted on the 62 minutes.

In Scotland, Laryea Kingston, who is yet to recover fully from his knee injury, watched Rangers beat his club, Hearts 2-1 at the Tynneside Stadium in their second match of the Scottish Premier league.

Prince Buaben played a vital role in Dundee United’s draw against St. Mirren over the weekend.

In Italy, defending champions, Inter Milan drew 1-1 against newly promoted Bari; with Sulley Ali Muntari being substituted in the first half of the game by Mario Barwauh.

Ahmed Ampimah Barusso also played for 64 minutes for Brescia in the Serie B as they defeated visiting Cittadella by a lone goal.

Elsewhere in Germany, Hans Adu Sarpei sat on the bench for Bayer Leverkusen, who demolished newly-promoted Freiburg 5-0.

Hannover 96 hammered Nuremberg 2-0, but Isaac Boakye was not part of the Nuremberg line-up.

Charles Takyi scored a spectacular goal for St. Pauli as they drew 2-2 with Duisburg, but he was shown the exit in the 28th minute for an unsporting behavior.

Isaac Vorsah was also in action for Hoffenheim, but the reinstated Prince Tagoe could not feature for the Club.

In Holland, Kwame Quansah led Heracles Almelo to win away against Willem II Tilburg, but he was booked in the 53rd minute.

PSV Eindhoven defeated NAC Breda 3-1, but they were without Ghanaian striker, Mathew Amoah.

Eric Addo played the full game for Roda JC, who were humiliated 4-0 by Feyernoord Rotherdam.

Black Satellites striker, Ransford Osei is yet to finalize his move to FC Twente.

He watched their game from the stands as FC Twente beat RKC Waalwijk 2-1; with Fred Benson playing 84 minutes for the visiting Waalwijk.

In France, the game involving Stade Rennes and Olympique Marseille at the Route de la Lorient failed to produce a winner as they drew 1-1.

Steve Mandanda nearly gifted Asamoah Gyan the winner, but the Black Stars striker failed to utilize the opportunity. Moussa Narry enjoyed the first half action as Lyon silenced Auxerre 3-0.

Charles Boateng helped FC Dijon to cement a home win against Nimes at the Stade Gaston Gérard.

In Portugal, William Tiero also helped Academica Coimbra to salvage a point at home against Paços de Ferreira.

The former Liberty and Kotoko playmaker dominated the midfield until he was substituted in the 68th minute.

Kwabena Asamoa-Frimpong was not selected for Young Boys Bern, who defeated FC Sion 3-1 in Switzerland.

Derek Boateng featured for Getafe, who thumped Real Zaragoza 2-0 in an off season friendly match in Spain.
