Winneba, (C/R), Aug. 15, GNA- Mr. Nii Ephraim Effutu-Effutu-Senya Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) has commended workers of the Municipal Mutual Health Insurance Scheme for their high sense of commitment, hard work and devotion to duty and urged them to maintain the spirit.

The MCE expressed appreciation about the team spirit of which the management and the staff discharge their duties.

Mr Ephraim gave the commendation when he interacted with the workers in Winneba on Thursday, as part of a familiarisation tour of the municipality.

He asked Ghanaians to co-operate with workers of the National Health Insurance Scheme to facilitate health delivery.

The MCE noted that it is in the interest of the citizenry to register with the scheme since it is a very good health policy.

Mr. Christopher Odoi, Municipal Scheme Manager, appealed to the municipal assembly to provide the scheme with office accommodation.

Mr. Ephraim assured the workers that his administration would do everything possible to ensure that the long standing problem is resolved.
